"The Shining" Hotel featuring Sleahy on Ukulele

If "The Shining" Hotel had a younger cousin...in Toronto, it would be this house. Just about to be demoed, this place and all its decor is completely out of the 60's - 70's right down to the wallpaper and orange shag rug.

Two lights and a spooky old house make for some great drama.

If we can make a ukulele look this rock 'n roll, i think we're just about ready to take on the recorder! (no offence to recorder players out there...)

But perhaps next time we can get him to light it on fire - who's with me?!

Watch out for more from Sean Leahy coming up....

I love her vintage sensibilities and fun & tasty baking. She really does make it look so effortless. And where else will you ever see a baker in a tutu?!

Happy New Year 2014!

Cristy: pyrotechnical expert with the New Year's sparklers

First off...HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

And what better way to start fresh in 2014 than with a brand new website and blog (explore some of the archives on the old blog)!

2013 was full of change, growth & learning and we're looking forward to a brand new year to fill with new experiences. So join us in our adventures and hopefully our paths will cross so we can experience some of it doing something creative together.

Here in southern Ontario, Canada, we got hit with an ice storm that left 250,000 with no power, but made for a uniquely serene backdrop over Christmas with a crystal coating over every surface. The illusion of trees made of glass was absolutely stunning - especially at sunset.
